Kshitij Parashar, 24, moved here in 2012 from Vadodara, India. “I came to TU Delft with an interest in the huge maritime industry located in and around Port of Rotterdam,” he says.

He describes himself as a “die hard foodie” and, knowing their son, his parents gave him a box of garam masala, a spice blend commonly used in Indian cooking. Cooking traditional food reminds him of home and allows him to showcase Indian culture to his new friends.
