Koniginnenach

Op 31 augustus 1885 werd de eerste ‘prinsessendag’ gevierd ter ere van de vijfde verjaardag van prinses Wilhelmina. Met de kroning van koningin Juliana is de datum verschoven naar 30 april. Vooral voor jongeren is de avond ervoor minstens zo leuk, traditioneel wordt er dan Koninginnenacht gevierd. In Den Haag is deze ‘Nach’ al twintig jaar uitbundig. Er zijn gratis toegankelijke buitenpodia maar ook in veel kroegen spelen bands. Vanaf 20.00 uur loopt de stad behoorlijk vol.
De line-up is dit jaar uitgebreid. Er treden minder bekende en bekende bands op, zoals Beef, Triggerfinger en The Deaf. Ook The Levi’s spelen deze avond. Zij wonnen de bandverkiezing die speciaal voor deze Koninginnenach werd uitgeschreven. Verder zijn er binnen optredens: Dudok, de Asta en het Theater aan het Spui hebben de hele avond live muziek. In de Asta draait een aantal bekende dj’s: Don Diablo, Jody Meyer en Isis.
Dit jaar komen de organisatoren met een bijzondere manier om het programma en je toegangskaartje voor de binnenoptredens te bemachtigen. Als je‘Nach’ sms’t naar het nummer 3010, download je de Nachmobiel. Hiermee kun je het programma bekijken en direct je entreebewijs regelen. Het bedrag (7,50 euro) wordt bij je telefoonrekening opgeteld en jij kunt direct naar binnen. Het enige wat je hoeft te laten zien is je mobiel! 

Exact Software announced that the company will move to a new corporate headquarters located at the Technopolis Innovation Park next to TU Delft. The move is anticipated to take place in about 18 months. The new state-of-the-art location will emanate Exact’s leading position in the business software solutions market, and will stimulate innovation and collaboration. The first stake for the new building was driven in this week by the mayor of Delft, Bas Verkerk. Keeping its global headquarters in Delft was a major consideration in deciding on the location of the new building. Rajesh Patel, CEO of Exact Software: “We are proud that our heritage started here in Delft. This is where it all began almost 25 years ago, and where we have expanded to become the company we are today. It was a conscious decision to look for a new location for our company headquarters here in Delft.”
