TU Delft students developed a game called ‘The Legend of Iris’ to learn blind children to navigate by sound. Being destitute of vision is a big problem when it comes to navigating through the world.
For example most of the traffic signs are made with visual cues and not for hearing.
Four students from the TU Delft came up with a game that will help children with their navigational skills via 3D sound and the head tracking capabilities of the Oculus Rift.
