Swati Manocha (23) describes herself as a ‘religious girl from India’ so it’s no surprise that she looks to religious items for comfort. Originally from Faridabad she moved to Delft last year to pursue an MSc in Management of Technology.

Her cloak was given to her by her temple priest and the book was a gift from her mother. She recalls that during the festival of Diwali, she repeated chants from her book and it almost felt like she was home.
