The end of the project is coming closer and closer and time has come to wrap up the report and prepare for the presentation. Before we do this some much needed relaxation is needed to prepare us for the hard work ahead!
Although cliché, ’time flies when you are having fun’, is really true in our case. The last eight weeks have really flown by and the realization has come that we really need to finish our report. With a lot of hard work in the final week and even working a few nights we managed to almost complete our report. So for this week only our presentation and the finishing touches are left.
This hard work of course had to be rewarded with a well deserved weekend break. With it being our last weekend here the opinions were divided about where to go and when we did not reach a consensus about where to go. This led to us splitting up to go to Minca, Bogota and to Medillin for the people who could not get enough of it.
Minca is a beautiful place with an abundance of hiking trails and gorgeous scenery. The hiking took its toll on Marlies, who is not accustomed to hard physical labour, and left her with some nasty blisters. This however did not reduce the amount of fun she had walking in the rain with the rest.
