Tim van der Hagen will stay on as Rector Magnificus and President of TU Delft’s Executive Board. The Supervisory Board has reappointed him until Oct. 7, 2026, the Executive Board reports in an email sent to all TU Delft employees.
The Board of Professors, the Deans of the Faculties, the Works Council and the Student Council all endorse the reappointment. “We are pleased that all involved in this extensive process have given their unanimous support,” said Supervisory Board Chairman Collot d’Escury in the email.
Van der Hagen has been Chairman of the Board since 2016 and Rector Magnificus since 2018. In the email he says he considers it a great honor to be able to take office in the coming years.
