The recruitment for vice-rector and vice-chairman of the Executive Board (cvb) is in the ‘stage of CV presentations’. This is what cvb member Marien van der Meer said at a meeting with local trade unions on Monday 14 October. How many responses to the vacancy have been received, she did not say. Earlier, the Supervisory Board expressed hope that Rob Mudde’s successor could start in the first quarter of 2025.
The procedure to find a new director at the Innovation & Impact Centre, where an interim took over after the rapid and tumultuous departure of the predecessor, is further along. According to Van der Meer, 70 responses have been received and interviews are taking place with ‘a number’.
In addition, Van der Meer reported that Finance director Monique Tomas will be a permanent employee. She had been interim director since October 2021.
Incidentally, Van der Meer’s own term is also nearing its end. She should be reappointed by August 2025. As usual, such a procedure is initiated a year in advance. Sources tell Delta that this has indeed happened.
