‘Smart’ bra wins TU contest

‘Smart’ bra wins contest

The annual TU Delft Impact Contest was won by the teams Smart Bra and CryoCOP. In doing so, they left nearly 60 other teams behind.

The Smart Bra is an idea of master student Rajae Atahiri. She wants to develop a smart bra that can detect breast cancer at an early stage using sensors, ‘smart fabrics’, artificial intelligence and machine learning, among other things. CryCOP was conceived by five students from TU Delft, TU Eindhoven and University of Wageningen. The team developed a carbon capture technology that can capture pure CO2 at a low price.

As part of the TU Delft Impact Contest, over sixty teams worked on launching their own startup. They attended workshops, were coached and participated in a speed dating event with experts.
