Matthijs Gouwerok nieuwe fractievoorzitter STIP

Na ruim 3 jaar verandert de STIP-fractie van samenstelling. Raadsleden Michelle Corten en Matthias Floor geven het stokje door.

Beiden waren ruim 3 jaar actief in de Delftse gemeenteraad. Commissieleden Marcel Harinck en Marnix Weiler nemen de taken over. Daarnaast treedt zittend raadslid Matthijs Gouwerok aan als fractievoorzitter.


Michelle Corten was sinds 2014 actief bij STIP, waarvan de laatste jaren als raadslid en fractievoorzitter. “Ik heb kennis gemaakt met Delft op een manier die niet velen kunnen ervaren. Zo heb ik gesproken met vele inspirerende Delftenaren en bevlogen ondernemers.” Ook Matthias Floor kijkt tevreden terug op een mooie periode. “Ik heb me vol enthousiasme ingezet voor deze mooie stad. Dat zal ik blijven doen, maar op andere manieren.”


Voor Matthijs Gouwerok breekt een nieuwe periode aan. “Ik heb ontzettend veel zin in de aankomende jaren. Samen met de rest van de STIP-fractie zullen we met een nieuwe dynamiek en frisse blikken de STIP-visie enthousiast voort blijven zetten.”


Op donderdag 20 december verandert de STIP-fractie van samenstelling. Studenten Techniek In Politiek (STIP) is een gemeenteraadspartij in Delft, door studenten en voor alle Delftenaren. De partij heeft zes van de 39 zetels in de gemeenteraard en een plek in de coalitie.
