Is abseiling from the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering on your bucket list? Good news! You can do it on Wednesday 14 May from 11:00 to 17:00. Dean of Aerospace Engineering Henri Werij will also descend from the 14-floor building during the lunch break.
The event is to mark the 16th anniversary of study association of Aerospace Engineering VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’. Meine Meier, the secretary of VSV’s board says: “Every lustrum, we look for a stunt to get into the news in a fun and amusing way, previously, for example, we washed a plane by hand. This year, the stunt is abseiling.” A professional company has been hired to ensure the abseiling is done safely. Everyone is welcome to come and watch or indulge in a descent.
