Ten cum laude degrees for MSc graduates

In his speech, Wakker recalled Europe%s past, when Latin was the common language at universities and professors traveled around Europe to teach. By introducing English as the main language at TU Delft, Wakker hopes to strengthen the university%s international character.

Wakker also announced that TU Delft will hold a raffle, offering MSc graduates the chance to win return plane tickets to attend next year%s graduation ceremony. The only condition is that alumni must then keep TU Delft informed about their changes of address, including e-mail.

In front of their colleagues, families, teachers, and various ambassadors, ten MSc students were awarded with the prestigious cum laude degree.
