To mark their 130th anniversary, members of study association Stylos (Architecture and the Built Environment) have built a sustainable pavilion. The structure, a meeting place for residents and students, has been developed in the Spoorzone and will remain standing until 27 June.
The pavilion consists entirely of different modules that together form a complete structure. The modules are made of recycled materials and designed in cooperation with various Delft organisations. When the structure is taken down at the end of June these organisations will receive the modules to use at their own location
For example, neighbourhood association Taste! will get a greenhouse where they can grow fruit and vegetables, Tanthof children’s farm will get a bee shed and there will be a terrace shelter for learning workshop Stunt. Two modules will also get a place at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment.
