Study places at Sint Jansburg

Study places at Sint Jansburg

Are you tired of studying in your room or at the campus? Since 1 June, student association DSV Sint Jansbrug offers twenty study places. Non-members can also reserve the spots.

The places were created with the help of and in consultation with TU Delft, explains commissaris extern Sophie Wentink.“For example, we were able to borrow an extra desk from the university. Everything complies with the most recent RIVM guidelines. Last week someone from TU Delft’s Integral Safety department visited us to check our covid-19 measures. Fortunately, the rooms were approved, so we could open this week.”

Yesterday six people studied at Sint Jansbrug, but that can change. “I expect that in the week before the exam period it will get real busy”, Wentink says.

Just like with the on-campus study places, students must make a reservation in TU Delft’s online reservation system. The spots are open from Tuesdays to Fridays, in two shifts: 09:00 AM to 01:30 PM and from 01:30 PM to 05:00 PM. And there is an advantage, Wentink reports: “You can reserve both shifts.”
