The Delft student team competing in the Batavierenrace is looking for participants. The Batavierenrace is the largest estafette race in the world and takes place every year. On 28 and 29 April, participants will run from Nijmegen to Enschede, a distance of 175 kilometres. The Delft team, consisting of 25 members, competes in the special university competition. The 25 stages vary in length from 3.5 to 10.7 kilometres and are run both during the day and at night.

On Wednesday 22 February there will be a selection run for those interested at AV’40’s athletics track. You can register via the registration form. The fastest runners will be selected. (Read more below photo)

Last year, the TU team finished seventh out of ten in the university competition, just behind the team from the University of Twente and Saxion University of Applied Sciences. The full distance was then run in ten hours and forty minutes.
