New TU Delft festival on 4 and 5 June

TU Delft has a new festival: the Maker Faire Delft. On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June, visitors of all ages can view creations made by students, engineers, designers, craftsmen and artists. There will also be performances, exhibitions, workshops, discussions and lectures. For example, ‘Macgyver professor’ Rolf Hut will work with visitors to assemble a work of light art. Visitors can also help to build on the new project of TU Delft alumnus Jerry de Vos, who previously won several awards for his plastic scanner for people in developing countries. Both days will be closed by LED Rebel, a Flemish producer and music artist, who will give an audiovisual show using LEDs.

  • The Maker Faire Delft is an initiative of the Science Centre Delft and will take place in culture center X on the Mekelweg.
