New protest against Wadden Sea gas drilling
Nine activists from Scientist Rebellion stuck scientific articles and a pamphlet on the windows of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate on Thursday, 27 October. The participants were protesting against gas drilling in the Wadden Sea.

The activists demanded that the government not issue a new licence to drill for gas in the Wadden Sea. They are not doing this for the first time. They also protested in September.
Scientists need to become more activist, believes Scientist Rebellion. “We have to show that we are willing to commit acts of civil disobedience”, said Twente assistant professor Guus Dix in an interview following the previous action. (HOP, BB)
