Military practice at the Reactor Institute

For six weeks, the Reactor Institute Delft (RID) will be the setting for drills by the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (Kmar).

The location is part of a combined external safety exercise with TNO Defence, in which employees of the Ministry of Defence and the Kmar train various scenarios with the help of actors.

Student information officers are present to answer questions from curious people passing by. “But most people don’t really seem to notice”, says the student on duty. (MvdV)

The exercises take place on six consecutive Thursdays between 4 November and 9 December.
