Former Saxion lecturer pretends to be a professor in Norway
A former blockchain technology lecturer who had to leave Saxion University of Applied Sciences for “questionable behavior” is now falsely posing as a professor at a Norwegian university.
In real estate, in which former Saxion lecturer Jan Veuger works, he presents himself as a “professor” at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. But that is not correct, according to inquiries by news and opinion platform SaxNow.
Although he has given some guest lectures in Norway, his name is missing from the personnel file. “Veuger must immediately remove the link to us and our logo from his website,” an NTNU spokesperson told SaxNow. He will also no longer be allowed to give guest lectures.
After several complaints about Veuger’s work, Saxion University had an external integrity investigation conducted because of “questionable behavior. This revealed that he acted carelessly or negligently in five of the six cases investigated. Veuger left the college in August. (HOP, PvT)
