Bjork’s charater is going blind but manages to sing a few tunes before very satisfyingly getting strung up by her neck. Oh so moving.

O Brother, Where Art Thou?, thurs to wed. 22:00; The Coen brothers on top form with this prison escape movie set in the American South, mirroring Homer’s Ulysess. John Turturro and George ‘ER’ Clooney star.

Delfia:

Meet The Parents, sat + sun. + wed. 17:00, 19:30 and 22:00, thurs. + fri. + mon. + tues. 18:45 and 21:30 Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller star in one the best comedies of 2000.

Unbreakble thurs. to wed. 19:00 and 21:45 (Sunday only at 19:00) If you liked the Sixth Sense, you’ll positively jump for joy after this one while simultaneously muttering, Boy, makes you think, no?’ A simiiarly spooky, spirtual, quintessentially American let’s-pretend-our-material-world-ain’t-so-material movie. Bruce Willis stars, and Samuel Jackson sports the wig he was supposed to wear in Shaft, but obviously confused his movies. Apparently, after seeing this movie, a number of Americans threw themselves under trains to see if they too were unbreakable
