Data of InHolland students hacked

The personal data of some 56,000 employees and students of InHolland University of Applied Sciences are offered on an Internet forum, the Dutch newspaper Volkskrant reportsAccording to InHolland, the data was stolen during a hack. It differs per person which data is available. Sometimes it’s only an email address, but in other cases also a name, phone number or an encrypted password.

The UvA and the HvA have been victims of a cyberattack for almost two weeks, in which encrypted passwords may also have been captured. Students and employees had to change their passwords, otherwise they would no longer be able to access their accounts. (HOP)
