Concerns about PhD students at AE

The Faculty of Aerospace Engineering (AE) is going to offer online confidential talks to PhD students. The faculty is worried about this group of researchers.

“Although we sympathise with all colleagues, we are concerned about our current PhD students,” writes the faculty in email with corona updates. The faculty says is has received feedback from colleagues suggesting that support from the HR department is needed.

PhD students can register for an online confidential conversation with HR advisor Evelien Bijl. The conversations can be about anything and take no more than half an hour. A follow-up conversation is also an option. AE offers this possibility “as long as we see a need for it”. PhD candidates can request the interview by sending an e-mail to e.m.e.bijl@tudelft.nl.
