Avans and Ede still at the top of Keuzegids rankings
Avans and Christelijke Hogeschool Ede remain number 1 in the Keuzegids Hbo (universities of applied sciences) published on Thursday. NHL Stenden scores best with its associate degree programmes.
Even though the National Student Survey has been adjusted – questions about facilities, timetables and the organisation of programmes are no longer mandatory – Avans University of Applied Sciences in Brabant leads the ranking of best large universities of applied sciences in the Keuzegids for the tenth time in 12 years. Avans students are above average satisfied with many of the 57 assessed courses and their study performance is also good.
With a total score of 70.5 points, Avans has slightly overtaken Windesheim, number 2 on the list with 67.5 points. The somewhat smaller Hogeschool Leiden is newcomer in the top-5 with 61.5 points, half a point more than NHL Stenden, number 4.
At the bottom of the ranking are Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (54), The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Utrecht University of Applied Sciences (both 53.5). Inholland University of Applied Sciences is last in the ranking (53). (HOP, HC)
