Architecture award for Echo education building

Education building Echo, which opened in May 2022 at TU Delft, has won an architecture prize. It is the Prix Versailles, in the category campus. Criteria included innovation, creativity and ecological efficiency.

According to Jérôme Gouadain, secretary general of the Prix Versailles, Echo stands out ‘for its architectural unity and overall coherence’. “Its external and immersive appeal beautifully serves student cohesion and, at the same time, underlines its openness to the world.” Echo is a design by UNStudio.
