Announcements

ChurchAn ecumenical service will be held for International Students on Sunday May 6th. The venue is as usual the Raamstraat church and the service starts at 11.3

0 sharp. The theme this time is: Full of God. Fr. Ben will lead the service; afterwards there will be a social gathering with coffee and tea.

Excursions

The Erasmus committee organises different excursions for foreign students. The costs for a one-day excursion are about fl.35.- and the costs of a two-day excursion are about fl.70.-You can subscribe by sending an e-mail to aegee@tudelft.nl (please don’t forget to mention your name, telephone number, e-mail address and which excursion you want to join!).

We hope to see you during one of the excursions or at the pub: Luniz, every Wednesday evening at 22.00 hour.

Coming Excursions: 12 and 13 May sailing weekend in Friesland, costs are 45 euro!! 3 June National park: ‘De Hoge Veluwe’. 14 and 15 July Mudflat walking (wadlopen) on one of the northern islands of Holland.

Fellowships

The Fraunhofer Institute for Microelectronic Circuits and Systems (Ghg-IMS) is an institute for the Fraunhofer Society (headquarters in Munich) organised in 60 institutes working in the field of applied research.

The Institute in Dresden works on development of ASICs, signal-processing circuits and intelligent integrated sensors, actuators, microsystems, and microtechnologies based on silicon technology.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Microelectronic Circuits and Systems in Dresden/Germany offers Marie Curie Development Host Fellowships (12 to 24 months) to scientists with experience in Micro-Opto-Electro-Mechanical-Systems (MOEMS). The type of competence sought is:

* design and development of new types of micromirror Ultra-Violet Spatial Light;

* modulators which are CMOS compatible and suitable for direct writing applications;

* development of micromirrors for scanners;

* development of a MOEMS reliability program.

Applicants should be researchers with a doctoral degree or have at least four years full-time research experience at postgraduate level other than doctoral studies in the above mentioned fields. Equal opportunities to applicants (women/men) are guaranteed.
