Waste separation stations in the Architecture building and the Aula

At the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment and in the Aula, waste will be collected separately from 1 June. During a six-month pilot, all loose waste bins at these locations will be replaced by waste stations where paper, PMD (plastic, metal and drinks cartons) and residual waste will be collected separately. Green bins for food waste will also be placed in the restaurants. “The waste stations are strategically located so you’re never more than 30 seconds away from them”, writes the university in a news item.

By separating waste, the university wants to reduce CO2 emissions and make the campus more sustainable. (MvdV)
