Seven Delft students in Dutch rowing selection

The rowing federation is out. Last Saturday, the KNRB announced (in Dutch) who have been admitted to this year’s national selection TeamNL rowing. Of the 47 top talents who were tested for three weeks, six come from DSRV Laga and one from DSR Proteus-Eretes.

The ‘Lagaaiers’ (Laga members) are: Willemijn Mulder, Dieuwertje den Besten, Laila Youssifou, Maartje Damen, Tessa Dullemans and Ralf Rienks. Roos de Jong has her roots at Proteus and now rows at Het Spaarne.

The rowers will compete four times for TeamNL this year:

  • 31 March-2 April in Pieddiluco, Italy;
  • 25-28 May at the European Championships in Bled, Slovenia;
  • 7-9 July at the World Rowing Cup III in Lucerne, Switzerland;
  • 3-10 September at the World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
