The integrity and social safety reporting point has received ‘just under twenty’ reports in the first six weeks. The so-called clarifying table with experts will be in action for the first time this week.
Olivier Seuer, the interim manager of the integrity office, said this on Monday during a meeting of the Executive Board and the TU Delft trade unions.
Diverse in nature
According to Seuer, the reports received are diverse in nature: some are about a long time ago, others about recent experiences, one report is complex, the other simpler.
Usually the case manager can handle the case alone, says Seuer. Beforehand, there was doubt about whether the case manager should not use the so-called clarifying table too often, he recalls.
The clarifying table at least consists an integrity office employee, together with at a colleague from safety and security and a legal expert from the Legal Affairs department. This week, the clarifying table will meet for the first time, according to Seuer. Two cases will likely be discussed.
Dedicated app
The reporting point can be reached in all kinds of ways (mail, telephone, mail, app), but most people choose the SpeakUp app, according to Seuer. Sometimes it stops at a notification alone, after which people do not respond when a case manager contacts them. After a few reminders, the notification is then closed, but can always be reopened.
