Princess Amalia to study in Amsterdam
Crown Princess Amalia is breaking with a family tradition and will not be studying in Leiden. She is opting for a bachelor at the University of Amsterdam: politics, psychology, law and economics.
This has been announced by the information service of the Royal Household (RVD). Students have to be selected for the course. The Princess has gone through this selection process. She is going to live in Amsterdam, together with some fellow students.
Her father, grandmother and great-grandmother all studied in Leiden. King Willem III also studied at the Leidse Hoogeschool, as the university was called at the time (HOP/BB)
