Nostalgia

This is Alejandro Ignacio Lopez Telgie’s second stint at TU Delft. Originally from Chile, he first came here as an exchange student and returned to pursue a master’s degree in aerospace in 2012.

Nor is it the first time someone in his family immigrated. His great-grandfather moved from Palestine to Chile and Lopez Telgie celebrates that heritage with a piece of jewelry shaped like a map of Palestine. “Many of my cousins wear a similar piece,” he says.
