Mekelpark to be renovated

The Mekelpark will be undergoing renovation, writes TU Delft. During a period of two weeks, at the end of February, 76 trees will be replaced by new ones. Some of the trees are sick or damaged by storms, other are showing signs of stunted growth and will never fully mature the way the architect originally intended. All the old trees will be recycled: the wood chips will be used as ground cover for the survival trail at X and the riding school adjacent to TU Delft. The renovation will develop the park according its original design.
