The results of the municipal elections are in, and with a turnout of 56.1%, this is what the competing parties won or lost.
The voter turnout in this election was 0.5% higher than four years ago. During this period, the number of seats went from 37 to 39 because of an increase in the population of Delft. That means that there were two extra seats to win.

What do these figures tell us?
For most parties, these elections do not change a lot. Five out of the ten parties now hold the same number of seats. Onafhankelijk Delft gains one seat, while PvdA loses one. GroenLinks wins the most seats this election, going from four seats to seven. Stip wins two seats, which brings its total to six. The party that loses the most is D66, which was the largest party since the last election. It loses three seats, going from eight seats to five. It now shares 3rd place with Onafhankelijk Delft.
