Every year the Faculty of Industrial Design organizes its own big party . the IO Festival. For one night, the whole faculty becomes the club to go to: concerts, special events and all kinds of people come together to build an atmosphere with plenty of freedom and a party mood you won’t forget.
The festival is on June 15, the day when DJ’s and bands of different styles meet to show that if TU Delft is a place to study during the daytime, at night…it’s party time!
Elsewhere, the fine early summer weather goes hand in hand with street life. In Delft, this means that ‘Mooi Weer Spelen’ (Nice Weather Games) is being held. From June 8 to 10, this street theater festival offers everything from theater plays to poetry, dance and installations by national and international artists. It’s a great time to have a nice walk around the beautiful streets of Delft, while enjoying the shows that are performed in many different languages – evidence that art does indeed transcend borders.
