Delftsch Studenten Corps besieged by Rotterdamsch Studenten Corps

Delftsch Studenten Corps besieged by Rotterdamsch Studenten Corps

Erasmus magazine reports that more than forty members of the Rotterdamsch Studenten Corps recently forced their way into the society of the Delftsch Studenten Corps, with a bat and a lot of fireworks. Several (former) DSC-members were attacked and parts of the interior were destroyed. It would be retaliation for the stealing of a chair from the RSC board by first-year DSC members a few weeks ago.

“A number of members and former members were physically assaulted, but fortunately have no permanent, serious, physical injuries. One of them has reported the assault”, the Erasmus article (in Dutch) quotes DSC president Olivier Abbenhuis. He says that peace has returned to DSC by now and that all those involved are doing well again. The police and an independent committee of RSC/RVSV are investigating the case.
