All Energy Day on 9 May
For students interested in working on the energy transition, the All Energy Day (AED) will be held in The Hague on 9 May. This event will bring together students, companies and other interested parties for workshops, presentations and an information market to talk about the energy transition. There is also a pitch competition for startups.
According to spokesperson Iza Zuijderwijk, Sustainable Energy Technology student at TU Delft and secretary of the AED board, it is important to make students aware of what they can contribute to the energy transition. “The theme this year is ‘Dare to lead’. Right now, there are many ideas and new technologies. Because change is needed now, we hope to motivate students to take the lead. Everyone needs to collaborate to make this transition happen, so we have approached a wide range of companies to be at the event. The companies attending all play a role in the energy transition of various sectors, from energy supply to consultancy.” (TB)
