Het evenement trok rond de vijfduizend bezoekers. De jubilerende studievereniging (65 jaar) wil in samenwerking met Seppe Airport twee maal per vijf jaar een vliegshow organiseren.
The Dutch ministry of education has earmarked hundred million euro over five years for scientific education and research in physics and chemistry. Many physics and chemistry faculties are experiencing drops in student enrollment numbers and facing cost-cutting measures, yet these disciplines are vital for industry, said Ronald Plasterk, the education minister. Plasterk has therefore allocated 20 million euro to be spent annually on various physics and chemistry education schemes from 2011 to 2016.
