New board for ISO

The Dutch National Student Association (Interstedelijk Studenten Overleg, ISO) has elected a new board. Terri van der Velden, 23 years old, will take on the chairmanship and be the spokeswoman. She has already completed her master’s in International and European Governance at Leiden University and is now doing an internship at the management consultancy Berenschot. “Next year, the government must turn its words into deeds”, she states in a press release (in Dutch) “The binding recommendation on the continuation of studies must be abolished, the basic grant must be introduced and the pressure on students must really be reduced now.”
