Learnings from socially involved students
On the 28th of June, mayor Marja van Bijsterveldt, TU Delft Vice-Rector Rob Mudde and representatives of socially involved student organisations will discuss the social involvement of students during the corona crisis.
“Corona has been a difficult time for everyone, including students. It has had a huge impact on studies, social life and (mental) health, but still students do not let themselves be put out of action”, writes Studium Generale Delft, one of the organisers of the event. Participants will look back on the social initiatives that students have set up over the past year and what they have learned from them. They will also look ahead to the coming year.
Studium Generale is organising the event together with TU Delft’s Student Council, Thuisbesmet.nl (an initiative of associations council VeRa and others), the municipality, the Municipal Health Service, Social Hub and Science Centre Delft. The evening lasts from 20.00 to 21.00 and can be viewed live via Studium Generale’s YouTube channel.
