Livestream about friendship
Studium Generale TU Delft has a livestream tonight about friendship in digital times. In the Philosophical Café, philosopher Lammert Kamphuis and professor of Communication and Technology Marjolijn Antheunis (Tilburg University) will discuss the state of friendship in the year 2021.
Now that life is largely taking place online as a result of the corona crisis, physical proximity is no longer a given. Can friendship exist by the grace of digital systems? Is the nature of friendship changing and can we learn anything from philosophers? Kamphuis and Antheunis raise these questions, among others.
The Philosophical Café is a programme by Studium Generale TU Delft and Theater de Veste. This edition starts at 20.30 hours and can be followed online. Tickets cost 2.50.
