From gay bingo to leek slapping: during the OWee, student associations invent all sorts of activities to attract members. Delta lists the most unusual ones.

The TU Delft student associations’ OWee committees have worked overtime to put as good a programme together as they can. At DSB you can do the ‘Lawn Mower’ dance with the Barry Badpak dance trio or sing in a shower cabin at AEGEE-Delft.

As the name in Dutch – which means leek slapping – suggests, take a leek and slap it around. The half hour event at De Bolk has become famous and infamous. De Bolk’s full programme is available here.
