Snow fun on the roof of the TU Delft Library

Many people came to the TU Delft Library on Sunday to ski and sledge. Delta was there and later in the afternoon heard that the roof had to be closed off.

Liveliness and fun. We have not seen much of that on campus lately. Sunday 7 February was a pleasant exception.

This year, no red fences restricting access to the roof of the TU Delft Library, but blue banners with the text: ‘Enjoy the snow!’.

Visitors were happy to do so. Young and old were whizzing down the slopes on skis, snowboards or sledges.

Enforcement saw to it that it did not get too busy.

Alternatively, there was still some room at Pulse.

  • Update 4:25 PM
At 4 PM Sunday afternoon, the TU Delft Library announced that everyone had to leave the roof. Due to the large crowds, visitors could not keep one and a half metres distance anymore.
