His winning idea was for computer games at academic level. “Computers have broadened the possibilities of games and therefore games can be valuable additions to education today,” Naber says, adding that ICT is especially helpful for slow students, because the games can repeat vital information.

Future highways made of Lego.

This week the construction of four highways got underway at Stevinweg 4. The highways, which will be tested for heavy trucks and safety, are the prize-winners of a game organized by %Rijkswaterstaat%, the Dutch department responsible for roads. The first road to be tested is like Lego, featuring underground blocks with bubbles that fit exactly into each other.

KLM not present at Technical business exposition.

Because of the airline industry%s economic troubles, KLM and Airbus UK were not represented at the recent Technical Business Exposition. This exposition is an opportunity for students and prospective employers to meet. It was organised by the student club, Virgiel. The Dutch telecom company KPN was present, although it had just fired 4,800 employees.
