TU Delft alumnus swims across the English Channel and raises over EUR 55,000 for brain health

After a swim of over 17.5 hours, TU Delft alumnus Winnifred Noorlander (31) arrived on the French coast on Sunday. She swam non-stop the 34 kilometres from Dover to Calais without a wetsuit. She did this to raise awareness about brain health. A few years ago, she herself suffered from concussion, which left her barely able to function. Her achievement raised over EUR 55,000 for the Brain Foundation.
