In late 2011 Jerry Okpanachi (31) graduated with a degree in chemistry. He is currently following Dutch courses two afternoons per week at the faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, and for the rest of week he works as a process engineer at KCI in Schiedam.

The drinking cups on the table in front of him are made of bamboo, and in Nigeria palm wine is drunk from such cups. Jerry prefers to drink from these cups rather than those made of glass, as the ‘bambu cups’ are closer to nature. Unfortunately, he cannot find palm wine for sale in any Delft shops.
